Romancing the Vote Auction Opens Today — More Than 600 Items to Bid On

I guess July 1st is the official kick off of election season for Romancelandia, as it is launch day for the annual Romancing the Vote auction which offers romance lovers all sorts of fabulous items from signed books and one-on-one critiques to hand-made items and stickers, from romance writers and readers. There literarily is something for everyone!
Romancingthevote.com was created by a coalition of romance authors, readers, and fans who care “about the future of this country and are inspired by fellow romance author Stacey Abrams to do what we can to preserve the right to vote. Democracy only thrives when every vote can be cast and counted, and we are fighting to help dismantle the legacy of voter suppression across the country.”
According to the website, Romancingthevote.com is working to raise money for the voting organizations Fair Fight & VoteRiders! In 2020 & 2022, the community raised over $750,000 for voting organizations.
This year they hope to raise a minimum of $75,000, but as of this afternoon, more than $51,000 had already been pledged. They are hoping to hit one million this year!
Me personally, I’m buying one of the FUCK SCOTUS sticker. Wish it was an embroidered pillow!
